Maged Mostafa is an executive and entrepreneur with broad experience in developing and marketing innovative products and technologies worldwide. Currently, Maged is the Managing Director, Strategic Alliances for ScribbleLive, a fast-growing Canadian SAAS and IT company specializing in big data analytics, audience engagement and social media management software, and digital marketing platforms. Maged established ScribbleLive MENA LLC under license from ScribbleLive in Canada; it was the start of what’s now Scribble’s vibrant and fruitful operation in Dubai. Prior, Maged worked as Genesis Manazil Group’s CEO.
In 2010 he established the Canadian Genesis Green Construction and Manufacturing Technology in the UAE. He closed over 120 contracts for the enterprise and expanded the team from 8 to 400 employees achieving astronomical growth with revenue increasing 600 times organically. He scaled up the business sustainably posting substantial profits and winning several local and regional awards becoming a group of five companies eventually with operations throughout the MENA region.
Previously Maged was COO at Genesis TP Inc. in Toronto. He led the teams responsible for licensing Genesis CAD/CAM software and technology around the world. He managed to close contracts with 12 licensees and establish the same number of factories in less than three years and generate tens of millions of franchise fees and recurring royalties, which primarily helped the company with its IPO in 2007. Prior, Maged was VP for Sales and Marketing of Visual-Gate Systems, a Toronto-based smart video R&D company where he expanded the business into nine countries.
Earlier he founded software development firm ComdotCom to serve the Mediterranean region. He designed several award-winning products including a series of software packages, more than 100 B2C websites and portals, and a pioneering B2B online marketplace. He sold the company after three years with 70 times return on investment.
Mostafa has a BS in Electronics Engineering and MBA with Distinction from the State University of New York, with a dual concentration in Marketing and MIS. He earned a Fulbright Scholarship and won four US national business competitions and was elected to prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma and Who’s Who. He is a member of the American Management Association and has presented at several technology conferences.
